How IK Interiors transformed an ordinary living room in Gachibowli into a cinematic entertainment lounge with acoustic fluted louvers, floating Italian PU cabinetry, and zero visible wiring.
The client, a senior software executive in Gachibowli, had invested in a premium 75-inch OLED cinema display, high-end soundbar, and gaming consoles. However, the living room presentation suffered from glaring issues:
Kamalesh Swamy designed a complete architectural statement feature wall that married high-fidelity cable management with ambient acoustic louvers:
Installed high-density polystyrene charcoal fluted louvers mounted over a 100% water & fire resistant substrate. The ribbed texture scatters high-frequency audio reflection for theatre-grade surround sound acoustics.
Embedded dual 65mm PVC conduits directly behind the paneling with brushed brass brush-plates, routing all power, optical, and HDMI lines invisibly down to the media console.
Concealed continuous COB LED strips casting a diffuse 3000K warm halo along both outer flanks and under the floating PU console, eliminating eyestrain during evening screen time.
"IK Interiors made our living room look straight out of an architectural magazine. The concealed wire management is so clean — there is not a single visible cable anywhere. And the fluted panels provide surprising acoustic richness when watching movies. Outstanding craftsmanship by Kamalesh's team!"
